Asthma

Making sure young people stay safe with their asthma at school or nursery can feel a bit daunting.

Young people may be going back to school or nursery for a new term, starting school or nursery for the first time or joining a new school or nursery. If you are admitting or have a child with asthma, or suspected asthma, you may worry about how to prepare for this.

It’s important to make sure that you know all about the child’s asthma and make sure that the child, their parents and you as school staff are comfortable.

These resources and the film have been put together by Dr Robin Carr, Wojtek Lubowiecki and pupils of the Cherwell School in Oxford and are shared on this site with their consent.
